Signs Along the Way

Posted by on Jul 5, 2012 in Camino | Comments Off on Signs Along the Way

Imagine packing up and leaving everything behind. Imagine concentrating on your most basic, essential needs. Imagine that you have only one thing to do all day long. Imagine that your one and only job is to take extremely good care of yourself. Imagine leaving all your technology behind (if you choose). No cell phones ringing, no GPSes beeping, no emails dinging. Imaging walking 12-18 miles every day, surrounded by like-minded people, all with a common goal. Imagine what realizations...

Back in the USA!

Posted by on Jun 14, 2012 in Camino | Comments Off on Back in the USA!

So after two days of travel, five separate airplanes, one overnight, and uncalculated hours on airplanes, I am finally back in Idaho. It’s gorgeous here–sunny and in the 70’s, and it’s the best time of year to be in Idaho. I have one month here to write,  regroup, and plan this summer’s adventures which will include the AMA Women & Motorcycling Conference (http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com/events/womenandmotorcycling), Our Women’s Empowerment Motorcycle Tour (http://womensempowermentmotorcycletour.com/womens-motorcycle-tours-ama-women-and-motorcycling-conference-tour/), and then spending the month of August scouting routes along...
