Two Days in San Antonio

Posted by on Sep 11, 2009 in Motorcycle Vagabonding | Comments Off on Two Days in San Antonio

We made it to San Antonio and decided to stay 2 days…a very nice and hospitable ADVrider couple is putting us up. I needed a day off from riding every day in the rain (I caught a cold I cannot shake riding every day, most of the time wet & cold). Our host has a great shop with a lot of tools, and EW has been eager to tear into his KTM, so I get a day’s rest. Please follow and like...

Edward and I finished the Continental Divide Trail…and a great ride it was. I must admit it’s kind-of a let down after all the goal-oriented riding we’ve been doing. His big news? We had a rider meeting, and then we held the Medallion Pass ceremony since we missed it yesterday with Neda getting sick. Once again it was a moving ceremony, remembering those that have passed, and also looking to the future and a CURE. At first I thought I’d go crazy not riding for a day, but you know what? I’ve enjoyed being a little lazy to tell you the truth. It’s enabled me to catch up on some things at home and on the computer, and I even started a trashy novel I picked up at a rest area a week...

Moving on…

I’ve been so “busy” and having so much fun it’s been hard to keep up with the blog. Plus, I confess, I feel badly for being “behind” so I’ve been looking for a large chunk of time to catch up. Well, you know what? It’s not happening. So I am just starting from here, this point in time, and moving forward. A good lesson for life, eh? Please follow and like...
