Mom always told us not to play with the food, but yesterday the heat got to me. We had a yummy lunch in Akko and I guess I found the salt shakers highly amusing. Please follow and like...

Second night of the tour we stayed in a Kibbutz-an Israeli community. We got a great tour by co-founder and resident Buffy, with lots of insights into their communal lives, struggles living 2 km (1.2 miles) from a contentious Lebanese border and growing pains as a community and a way of life. I took food pics and will upload them later.     Please follow and like...

Well, by the time you read this I will probably be in the air headed to Tel Aviv for my first visit to Israel. I am so excited! I’ve been packing all week, ordering some new kit (equipment), and finishing up some projects that need to be completed before I leave. I’ve never been to Israel, and so I feel very fortunate to be able to ride motorcycles there. I’ll be on an Edelweiss Bike Travel scouting tour, and that’s in conjunction with Tamar Mediterranean Bike Tours. This is where we’ll be exploring: The itinerary: 9 DAYS VACATION 6 DAY RIDING ROUTE 1 DAY OF SIGHTSEEING DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN TEL AVIV DAY 2 Tel Aviv – Mt. Hermon DAY 3 Mt. Hermon – Haifa DAY 4 Haifa DAY 5 Haifa – Jerusalem DAY 6 Sightseeing Jerusalem DAY 7 Jerusalem...
